“Enough”

We live in a culture where we are bombarded with the idea that we don't have enough: enough worth, enough money, enough power, enough for our future. But the heart of Jesus is one of radical contentment - with what we have, with who we are, and with the abundance of God's kingdom. How do we find that kind of contentment in a world that screams the opposite? How can we live content when we feel we are lacking what we need or want?

As we slow down to enter the season of Advent - the celebration of Jesus dwelling among us -may we learn what it means to empty ourselves, to find contentment and consolation in Christ, and ultimately find ourselves satisfied in the abundance of God's "enough".
